The ShatteredA shattered heart lays in remnants, glittering like poisoned rubies in the twilight. Eyes of ice survey the scene, drinking in the damage and suffering. All sounds fall in a hush, muted by the harsh destruction, an explosion may as well be a whisper in the aftermath of those cries. The air carries a hint of burning, a distinct taste of blood. The ground beneath this scene seems almost to shrink away, horrified to be a part of this play. All movement has been suspended, waiting for the next line to be spoken, although it knows well enough no voice could utter it.
